SuperAnnotate SME: is there an interview, what is the hourly pay, and can people from Chile apply?

Dear all,

I just applied to work for SuperAnnotate (SME) via AITraining.jobs.

Anyone who has already completed the application or who works for SuperAnnotate now, please let me know!

Do I need to have an interview, either a live interview or an interview recorded by AI, or does SuperAnnotate accept people without an interview at all?

In addition, I would be grateful if you could provide some info about hourly wage, response time, and whether candidates from Chile can apply.

Thank you in advance!

Yes, there is an interview. At SuperAnnotate SME almost all roles use a recorded video AI interview of about 15 minutes, on a desktop computer with a microphone and camera. It is done only once (a second attempt only if SME offers it). Using Google, ChatGPT or notes leads to disqualification. The result usually arrives in 1 to 2 business days. Some roles add an exam or a short interview with a recruiter.

Chile: our data does not exclude it. SME requires that Deel supports your country (the form blocks those that don't) and that the role is open in your country. It does not publish a list, so you see it in the form and in each role.

Pay: the two offers below say "up to" $20/hr and $15/hr. Treat that number as a ceiling: SME sets your rate according to experience, location and market. It is paid every week through Deel.

Timelines: approved is not the same as having work. On 11 Oct 2026, 132 of 264 roles said there was no immediate project, and some people wait months after signing the contract.
