Common questions about AI training jobs
How AITraining.jobs works →Is there one website that lists all AI training jobs?
AITraining.jobs is built for that. As of 30 Oct 2026, AITraining.jobs lists 4,350 open AI training roles from the job boards of 62 platforms in one place, read every hour, and compares the pay of all 86 platforms it tracks. Each role is counted once, however many cities or countries its platform posts it for, and a company's own staff jobs on the same job board are left out, so the count is of AI training roles a person can apply to. Every role links to the platform's own application, and platforms without a public job board are listed with their researched pay so you can compare them before you apply.
What is an AI trainer job?
An AI trainer is paid to make AI models better: rating and correcting a model's answers, writing the prompts and example answers it learns from, labeling data, or checking its work in a field you know. Platforms also post the same work as AI tutor, rater, evaluator, and annotator roles. Of the 4,350 AI training jobs open today, 750 carry "AI Trainer" in the job title or listing, and the largest categories are Domain Experts (1,514), Multilingual (880), and Transcription & Audio (620). The qualification is usually a language, a profession, or careful attention rather than an AI background; coding and agentic roles add technical skill. What is an AI trainer, and how do you become one: the full guide, from our research.
How much does it pay to train AI?
Typical AI training work pays $30–$125/hr, a live median of $40/hr measured from 2,827 distinct rates advertised across 51 platforms, drawn from today's 4,350 open roles. Simple data-labeling and survey work sits lower and is priced by geography; credentialed expert, coding, and agentic or RL-environment work reaches $450/hr on today's board. A further 816 open roles publish no rate at all, and those sit mostly on the lower-paying platforms, so the true median is somewhat below $40/hr.
How do you get paid to train AI?
To get paid to train AI, you sign up with a platform that hires people to train AI (rating model answers, labeling data, or lending professional expertise), pass a short qualification, then get paid by the hour or the task. AITraining.jobs pulls the live openings of the 62 platforms hiring now and compiles pay across all 86 it tracks, so you can compare what each pays and apply in one click.
Do you need experience or a degree to start?
No. Many roles (rating AI answers, data labeling, research studies) need only careful attention; the roles that ask for no experience are listed with what they pay and what they still ask for, often a language or a country. A profession, a degree, or technical skill unlocks the highest-paying expert, coding, and agentic work.
Do you have to live in the US to do AI training work?
No. Of the 4,350 roles open today, 19% are open to workers in any country and 96% are remote. Most platforms hire globally and pay in USD, so you can do this work from almost anywhere. Some roles are limited to a specific country or language; the country pages show what is open where you live.
Is getting paid to train AI legitimate?
Yes. The platforms listed here are real companies that pay contributors, though pay, task volume, and reliability vary widely between them. Each platform page shows what it pays, how it pays out, and its worker reputation so you can judge before signing up.
