Venture Capital Website People Labeler

The work

You will review about 300 venture capital firm websites in a normal web browser. For each firm, find every page that shows its team and record the available people data in a spreadsheet template.

You will also document how a visitor reaches each person, including the clicks, tabs, or scrolls needed to show the person and how each bio opens. The provided labeling software will reduce much of the manual data entry.

• Find all team pages on each assigned venture capital website.
• Record each person's name, title, section, and bio.
• Document the exact clicks, tabs, and scrolls that reveal each person.
• Record how each person's bio opens.
• Enter the results in the provided spreadsheet template.
• Work with live company websites in a standard web browser.

What it pays and takes

This is an entry-level contractor role for careful people who can follow website paths closely and enter complete, accurate information. No specific prior experience or language requirement is provided.

• Pay: $750 fixed price for the project.
