About the Role

Aligned is expanding its team of expert consultants with talented PhD Italian Studies experts for immediate part-time, fully remote work supporting AI research. Projects start at $50-55 USD / hour for newly approved experts and can scale upwards of $100 USD / hour for high-performing experts.

We are seeking individuals with a PhD in Italian literature, Italian Renaissance studies, Italian art history, or Italian language and culture. This is an opportunity to supplement your income with well-paying freelance projects at the world's top AI research and frontier model companies, leveraging your hard-earned skills and insights within a talented community of Italian language and culture experts.

How it Works

• Payment: Projects are paid hourly and start at $50-55 USD / hour for newly approved experts. You will be paid bi-weekly.

Minimum Qualifications

• You are a native or fluent English speaker and can confidently write at the university level.
• You have a PhD in Italian literature, Italian Renaissance studies, Italian art history, Italian language and culture, or a closely related field from a reputable university.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of academic or professional experience in Italian studies at a well-regarded organization.
• You possess exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex cultural and literary concepts clearly to both expert and non-expert audiences.
