Video Production Experts: Film and Edit Multi-Camera Footage for AI Training

About the opportunity:

We’re looking for working videographers and content creators who can shoot short, clean, original clips on their own equipment. Your footage is used to train video generative AI models. This is remote, freelance work with flexible hours, so you can shoot whenever suits you.

What you'll do

• Film short original clips (10 to 30 seconds) from a brief, such as the same scene from several angles at once, or the same locked-off scene twice with a different action each time
• Line the takes up frame by frame in your editor, with no drift
• Export to spec and write a short description of each clip

What you need to bring (equipment first)

• A camera or recent smartphone that records 1080p at 30 fps , with manual control to lock exposure, focus and white balance
• A tripod or a stable mount for every camera you shoot with. Handheld footage won’t pass
• Two or more cameras or phones for multi-angle shoots. If you only have one, you can still take the same-scene, different-action tasks
• Controlled lighting, indoors or outdoors, with no flicker, auto-exposure hunting or window-light drift
• Editing software of any kind that can export H.264 at 1080p, 30 fps, around 30 Mbps , with no upscaling

Experience we’re looking for

• You’ve shot repeatable, locked-off setups before, such as cooking, tutorial, product or commercial content
• You can match exposure, white balance and frame rate across cameras, and line up takes exactly in post
• You can get adult subjects (yourself, friends, family or a small crew) who are comfortable being filmed and signing a consent form

Payment

• Project work: Earn up to USD $50 per hour for core project work
• Additional incentives: On average, Outlier Contributors earn an additional 7.5% on top of the core project rates through Missions - Outlier’s version of surge pricing. The top quartile of contributors boost their earnings by an average of 11%.
• Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. For example, higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For non-core work, such as during initial project onboarding or project overtime phases, lower rates apply. Additional incentives data is based on payments made in the past six months and is updated quarterly. Certain projects offer incentive payments. Please review the payment terms for each project.

This is a 1099 contract opportunity on the Outlier.ai platform. Because this is a freelance opportunity, we do not offer internships, sponsorship, or employment.
