Korean Specialist (AI Training)
Remote in 6 countries
Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, United States
About the role
Overview
Korean punishes the mistakes AI loves to make: it mixes speech levels, sliding between formal and casual within a single exchange, and drops or misplaces the particles that carry meaning. The honorifics a native speaker chooses without thinking are exactly where the model slips.
As a Korean Expert, you'll judge and correct AI output in Korean, teaching models to hold the right speech level throughout.
What you’ll actually do
- Review translations between English and Korean for meaning, flow, and a consistent speech level.
- Score and rank model output in Korean, catching mixed honorifics and misused particles.
- Write the better version when the model falls short, natural enough to pass as native.
Roles this fits
Common backgrounds: Korean Linguist, Bilingual Reviewer, Localization Specialist.
What we look for
- Native or near-native fluency in Korean.
- Command of honorifics and speech levels in everyday use.
- Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
- No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.
