micro1 ID and selfie verification before a paid project: is it standard?

Hi everyone,

I recently passed the AI interview for the Video Data Annotation Specialist role at micro1 and received my certification.

Before I can move forward, I'm being asked to upload my passport or ID card, along with a selfie holding the document.

Has anyone here completed this verification process? Is this a standard requirement at micro1, even before being assigned a paid project?

I'm a bit cautious about sharing sensitive personal documents, so I'd like to hear from people who have already gone through it.
