Mercor has provided the most consistent financial work. Rates vary depending on the project. Some have been USD 80/hr, others USD 175/hr. Most of the financial work I see falls between USD 80-120. It can be easy to get more long term projects. Once you do well on a project you’ll often be invited back for the next. So the quality of the work on the first project is important. I am paid by bank transfer into my account in Kenya and this has worked well.

    Thanks for the detail on rates and bank payouts. One thing for readers in Kenya: Mercor does not take contractors located in Kenya. Its supported-countries page leaves Kenya out (Mercor's page, 29 Oct 2026). Bai H., if you work on Mercor, check your location status with Mercor support, since that is where it is decided. For anyone else in Kenya, don't spend hours on its interview.
